9:00 am -2:00 pm

Crossroads Village

6140 N Bray Rd, Flint, MI 48505

In the past, our signature event, close to 2,500 admission tickets, have been purchased by seniors, disabled adults, and their families and caregivers. Join us at Crossroads Village for a socially/safely distanced event where attendees can fill their VAAA bag with information and “swag” from State and Local Legislators and vendors representing various services from health care to financial planning and government agencies, providing valuable information and resources.  Attendees will also enjoy lunch to-go and outdoor entertainment.

For over 30 years, the Valley Area Agency on Aging has hosted Senior Power Day. This annual event is held at Crossroads Village in May to celebrate Older Americans Month. The purpose of Senior Power Day is to provide senior citizens of Genesee, Lapeer, and Shiawassee Counties with information and entertainment. The activities include:

  • Information on Health and Senior Services
  • Learn About Senior Issues on the Ballot
  • Meet With Legislators and Elected Officials
  • Enjoy Old Fashioned Park Rides
  • A Free Huckleberry Railroad Train Ride
  • Music Entertainment & Dancing
  • Raffles and Door Prizes
