The Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) and the Office of the Inspector General (OIG) require agencies who receive Medicaid funding to actively detect and prevent Medicare and Medicaid Fraud, Waste, and Abuse (FWA). Valley Area Agency on Aging’s success in the detection and prevention of FWA with assistance from staff, participants and providers will be one of the main priorities in FY 2019. Let us all do our part to fight FWA. Please report suspicions here.
