Creating Confident Caregivers
Creating Confident Caregivers is a program for family members caring for a loved one with dementia and/or memory loss. Two-hour sessions are held once a week for six weeks and lead by a dementia care specialist. In this program, caregivers will learn dementia and its effects on the brain, caregiver resources in Region 5, managing behaviors, improving caregiving skills, how to handle everyday activities more easily, and taking care of yourself to better care for your loved one!
Powerful Tools for Caregivers
Caring for a relative or friend with a chronic illness can be stressful physically, emotionally, and financially. Join our Powerful Tools for Caregivers six-week class that is designed to provide you, the family caregiver, with the skills you need to take care of yourself. Powerful Tools for Caregivers will help you:
- Reduce Stress
- Improve self-confidence
- Balance your life
- Better communicate your feelings
- Increase ability to tackle tough decisions
- Locate helpful resources

Kinship Caregiver Services
Provides short-term relief for primary caregivers. It can be arranged for just an afternoon or for several days or weeks.
Adult Day Care
Utilized to relieve the caregiver or their duties for the day while ensuring that the care recipient will still receive the proper care in a safe, friendly environment.
Groups that offer moral support, advice and information on a variety of topics relating to seniors and their loved ones.
Information and Assistance
The Information & Assistance Program provides answers and action for many of the problems and concerns facing our aging and disabled population.
