“Birdies for Charity is one of The Ally Challenge presented by McLaren charity initiatives that allows Michigan 501(c)(3) charities and schools to use the tournament as a fundraising platform. The program is designed to give charities an opportunity to utilize the excitement around the tournament to generate contributions through a flat donation OR a pledge per birdie based on the number of birdies made by the PGA TOUR Champions players during competitive rounds at the tournament.
Each participating charity will receive 100% of their collected donations, PLUS a minimum bonus match of 10% on the first $150,000 of collected donations through the program. The final bonus match for the inaugural tournament will be determined after the conclusion of this year’s program in September 2019.”
